On Monday, Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe basically supplied Texas A&M with a roadmap to leave the conference. The letter was received by the university about a week after the school let the Big 12 know it was exploring other options.

Late Monday evening, Chip Brown of orangebloods.com, tweeted that his sources at Texas A&M indicated they have been assured the school would receive the necessary SEC votes for approval.
